We had to sleep on our convertible sofa for a week while we waited for our new bed. It had the standard sleeper mattress on it. I had no idea the suffering we were putting our guests through. that mattress sucked. you could feel every bar in the frame. It was awful. I remembered that Jennifer Convertibles sold an exclusive air-topped mattress. Looking for that, I came across this mattress. It is amazing! It is a standard sleeper mattress with over oversized covering. On top of the mattress (but still in the cover) is an air mattress. Using the included pump, you simply unzip the cover, and screw in the pump. It inflates in under a minute. And it is FIRM. It is as comfortable as any standard mattress. Further, we had it inflated for three nights of sleeping, and it lost very little air.
